This Millésime 2002, with its golden-yellow robe, is both intense and complex, with a discrete effervescence. Its nose is expressive, opening on well-developed grilled and dried fruit aromas. In the mouth one encounters the duality of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a mellow and fleshy mid-palate that gives way to a smooth, persistent finish with a touch of acidity. This is a cuvée with personality, in which the terroir finds full expression.
This Champagne has its origin in the Côte des Bar, well known for its Pinot Noir grown on Kimmeridgian soil. That terroir provides an ideal setting for the creation of superb rosés using the saignée vinification technique, which increases the tannin and color. With a deep rose tint, this delightful Pinot Noir delivers a nose with a voluptuous, rich bouquet on notes of just-picked cherry and raspberry. Very agreeable in the mouth and with a satisfying fluidity, this cuvée will leave no one indifferent, thanks to its rich and generous nature, as well as a perfect balance. You can be assured of a delicious experience.
A long maturation in our cellars provides this cuvée with a salmon robe that’s enhanced with attractive copper tints. The nose opens on notes of strawberry jam and cooked fruit. In the mouth the experience is warm and winey, with good length and the spicy aromas typical of Pinot Noir, such as liquorice. Serve this delicate yet powerful Champagne at 8°C to ensure its full expression.
